PiezEnhance

Overview

PiezEnhance is a deep network designed to reconstruct high-quality audio from low-quality piezoelectric microphone recordings. Piezoelectric microphones are useful in wearable and embedded applications but produce significantly degraded audio compared to traditional microphones.

Technical Details

• Developed a deep neural network architecture for audio super-resolution from piezoelectric sources
• Tested performance using both qualitative and quantitative analysis to judge reconstructed audio quality
• Experimented with different loss functions and audio comparison techniques to enhance performance
